The Successful Applicant

Ideally, you will bring:

  • Approximately 7+ years' experience across funds management, investment management, private markets, financial services or a related environment.
  • A strong accounting or finance foundation, ideally supported by CA, CPA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience within investment operations, fund accounting, fund finance, financial control or a similarly broad position.
  • Exposure to private market investments such as private equity, private credit, property, infrastructure or other alternatives.
  • Understanding of capital calls, distributions, investment reconciliations and fund/investment reporting.
  • Experience coordinating external audit, tax advisers and other professional service providers.
  • Exposure to governance, compliance, risk or regulatory requirements within an investment environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence dealing with trustees, lawyers, auditors, tax advisers, investment managers and other counterparties.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to understand the broader commercial implications of your work.
  • Experience with AFSL requirements, private market subscription documentation, international investment structures or US-based funds would be advantageous but is not essential.

What's on Offer

  • This is an opportunity to take on a genuinely broad role within an investment environment, gaining exposure across private markets, investment operations, governance, compliance, finance and fund administration.
  • Rather than operating within a narrow functional remit, you will have visibility across the investment lifecycle and the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of how the organisation's operational and governance framework develops over time.
