Are you an experienced professional with a knack for delivering data migration projects? We're seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join a leading organisation in the healthcare industry and assist with a Data Migration, based in Melbourne.

Job Description

  • Provide enhanced payroll support during go-live
  • UAT testing of employee data template uploads into test
  • Review and analysis of data uploads into production system
  • Validate and process onboarding documentation (tax,
  • Review Leave balance uploads
  • Support payroll readiness and testing
  • Assist with first pay cycle processing and validation
  • Respond to onboarding-related payroll queries
  • Identify risks and process issues
  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Provide payroll advice and support
  • Support employee lifecycle processes
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and policy

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Payroll Ofiicer should have:

  • Proven experience in a large, complex, high-volume payroll environment
  • SAP payroll experience (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors EC/ECP/PCC)
  • Experience supporting payroll projects, implementations, or large-scale onboarding/data migration
  • Strong data validation, reconciliation, and UAT/testing capability
  • Experience with payroll readiness, first pay validation, and hypercare support
  • Sound knowledge of enterprise agreements, awards, superannuation, and salary packaging
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, particularly across large datasets
  • Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify risks and drive improvements



Desirable:

  • Experience in healthcare payroll
  • Exposure to HRIS implementations or bulk onboarding activities
  • UKG (Kronos) experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (HR, Finance, or related)
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
