Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the industrial and manufacturing market.
  • Provide technical consultation to clients, ensuring the best solutions are tailored to their needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to management.
  • Travel to client sites as required, representing the company in a professional manner.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Sales Specialist should have:

  • A strong background in sales within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Solid technical knowledge relevant to the industry.
  • Client facing role B2B technical industrial sales
  • A background in technical sales within the building and construction market is ideal
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A valid driver's licence for travel requirements.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic office software.
  • Degree or Trade qualification is preferred but not necessary.
  • Computer literacy skills are essential (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Current driver's licence is mandatory.
