Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the Work Health and Safety team.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to WHS activities and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and safety audits.
  • Monitor and update WHS policies and procedures as required.
  • Respond to WHS-related queries and provide assistance to staff when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation and standards.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of safety within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful WHS Administrator should have:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within the Public Sector or a similar industry.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices and legislation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in WHS or a related field (desirable).
  • Valid WA Police Clearance.
