Job Description

  • Provide expert advice on enterprise agreements, awards, and workplace relations issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislation and policies.
  • Support management in interpreting and applying industrial instruments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate enterprise agreements and resolve disputes.
  • Conduct research and analysis on workplace relations trends and legislative changes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to workplace relations matters.
  • Deliver training and guidance to staff on workplace relations policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees and unions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Workplace Relations Senior Advisor - Enterprise Agreements/Awards should have:

  • A strong understanding of enterprise agreements, awards, and workplace relations legislation.
  • Previous stand alone employee relations experience.
  • Experience in the education sector or a similar environment is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve workplace disputes effectively.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture
