Our client is a well-established Australian technology and services business operating at the intersection of finance, accounting and data analytics. They combine proprietary software with outsourced bookkeeping, accounting and advisory to give organisations stronger financial visibility and decision-making capability. With a national customer base and a strong referral-driven footprint in one state, they are now investing in a dedicated Victorian hire to expand their mid-market presence as they continue building out a more advanced, data-led platform.

Job Description

This is a true new business role with full ownership of the Victorian territory. You'll be responsible for building a pipeline from scratch, engaging mid-market and lower enterprise organisations through outbound activity, referrals and industry networks.Day to day, you'll lead discovery conversations to unpack financial, operational and reporting challenges, before presenting a combined solution spanning software, outsourced accounting and advisory. You'll demonstrate the platform, articulate commercial value and guide prospects through structured, consultative sales cycles.You'll manage opportunities end-to-end, from first meeting through to close, while maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM. Collaboration with a Sydney-based leadership team will ensure alignment with national strategy, while giving you autonomy to shape the Victorian market.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven new business B2B seller with consistent new logo wins
  • Formal training in a recognised sales methodology (e.g. MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger)
  • Experience selling SaaS, finance, FP&A or service-based solutions
  • Comfortable operating in mid-market or lower enterprise segments
  • Strong consultative selling approach grounded in commercial outcomes
  • Experience managing longer, structured sales cycles
  • Exposure to accounting, analytics or financial workflows advantageous
