They are now seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support their broking operations and play a key role in maintaining service standards, managing client relationships, and contributing to business growth.

Job Description

  • Provide end-to-end administrative and operational support to Account Managers across a portfolio of clients.
  • Assist with renewals, endorsements, and new business processing in line with internal procedures and service standards.
  • Prepare client documentation including submissions, quotation slips, and policy documentation.
  • Manage invoicing, renewal processing, and general policy administration within required timeframes.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery and strong relationships.
  • Lodge, manage, and follow up on claims, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with clients.
  • Support Account Managers in identifying opportunities to grow and retain the client base.
  • Maintain accurate client records, filing, and CRM updates to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
  • Handle inbound enquiries professionally, providing prompt and courteous assistance at all times.
  • Assist with general office administration including scanning, filing, and coordination of documentation.
  • Contribute to team performance targets including client retention, service standards, and operational KPIs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in insurance broking, underwriting support, or financial services administration is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-service mindset.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and insurers.
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the insurance industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage sensitive or complex client situations professionally.
