Job Description

  • Drive new business acquisition across the coffee packaging market, identifying and converting opportunities in line with growth targets
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking and industry engagement
  • Develop long-term, trusted relationships with customers, understanding their operational and commercial needs
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and negotiate commercial agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales leadership and support teams, to execute growth strategies
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting and reporting to support strategic decision-making
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and customer sites (including interstate travel as required)



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or commercial roles within coffee, packaging, FMCG or adjacent industries
  • Strong understanding of the coffee industry (roasting, brewing, supply chain or equipment) - you "speak the language"
  • Demonstrated success in building new business pipelines and converting opportunities
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • A team-first, collaborative mindset - this is not an individual contributor culture
  • High levels of resilience, professionalism and commercial acumen
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel regularly
  • CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency (HubSpot exposure advantageous)
