We are seeking a meticulous Corporate Accountant to join a thriving organisation within the logistics industry. This role will focus on financial reporting, compliance, and supporting the wider accounting and finance team.

Job Description



The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing monthly consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, journals, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Managing statutory reporting, including annual financial statements, disclosure notes, regulatory reporting, and compliance with AASB/IFRS and the Corporations Act.
  • Supporting treasury and group accounting activities, including loan accounting, bank reconciliations, employee benefits, share-based payments, and corporate transactions.
  • Coordinating external audit requirements, liaising with auditors and advisors, and preparing audit deliverables.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls, reviewing reconciliations, identifying process improvements, and supporting governance and risk management initiatives.
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and providing financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Driving continuous improvement by enhancing finance processes, supporting transformation initiatives, and implementing new accounting standards.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, shared services teams, and external partners to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality financial reporting.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualification, or working towards certification.
  • Exposure working within a large, complex multi-entity business
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
