Michael Page have been engaged to source a new Financial Controller for our loyal south eastern suburbs based client. This role will have you working in a growing manufacturing brand, managing both commercial and technical finance.
  • Negotiable salary, circa $200K plus superannuation.
  • South Eastern suburbs location.

This organisation operates within the manufacturing industry and is based in the south eastern suburbs. This permanent position offers a competitive salary package and an opportunity to lead finance + business strategy and team management. The role will be 4 days in the office and 1 day work from home, with additional flexibility offered.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory financial requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Supervise and support the accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller will be able to demonstrate:

  • A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA or CA.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Experience in financial management, reporting and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and software.
  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
