Job Description

  • Develop and oversee HV secondary substation designs in compliance with Australian standards.
  • Lead protection & control system designs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Advise clients on project requirements, solutions, and best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering outputs within project timelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Secondary Engineer should have:

  • Proven expertise in HV secondary substation design and protection & control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards and industry best practices.
  • Experience leading projects within the energy & natural resources sector.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong client advisory and relationship management skills.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers.
