Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and strategies to minimise downtime.
  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all activities.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets effectively to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Analyse equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

The Successful Applicant

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in maintenance related to heavy industry, associated workshops, planning and equipment
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage significant technician & trades workforce
  • Proven experience in maintenance management
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy plant equipment scheduled and unscheduled maintenance management plans and techniques
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Analytical skills to assess and improve equipment performance.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Must have Permanent Residency in Australia and Working Rights for Australia.
