Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across utilities and EPC's.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Analyse market trends and provide insights to support business growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to senior management.
  • Travel requirement across Australia.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in business development within the power transformers or energy sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Competency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Formal qualifications in business, sales, or a related field are highly regarded.
