Due to increased project demands, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Audit Support Officer to assist with a critical payroll audit and remediation project.Job DescriptionConduct end-to-end payroll processing and payroll audit activitiesAnalyse historical payroll data to ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements, NES, and SHADS awardsInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and calculation issuesPrepare detailed reports and provide timely payroll audit support to managementManage complex industrial agreements, including shift and night penalty structuresSupport continuous improvement initiatives and legislative compliance changesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable/debt collection functions as requiredMaintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and patient-related informationWork collaboratively with stakeholders while also managing workloads autonomouslyThe Successful ApplicantA successful Payroll Audit Officer should have:Minimum 5 years' experience in Payroll Officer or Payroll Manager positionsStrong end-to-end payroll processing experience within medium to large organisationsAdvanced analytical and auditing skills with the ability to manage large datasetsSound knowledge of Enterprise Agreements, NES, SHADS, and payroll legislationHighly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Dayforce experience advantageousExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyAbility to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentPolice clearance (or ability to provide a statutory declaration for immediate commencement)Flu and COVID vaccinations highly regardedWhat's on OfferImmediate start opportunity with a 3-month initial contract and approved extension potentialFlexible working hours with 1 day WFH per weekCompetitive hourly rate, open to candidate expectationsOpportunity to contribute to a meaningful payroll remediation and audit projectSupportive leadership with direct access to decision-makersConvenient West Perth location with modern systems and collaborative team cultureIf you are passionate about payroll auditing, this could be the role for you.
