Job Description

  • Own the administration, support and ongoing optimisation of the Oracle Cloud EPM platform to keep it stable, secure and performing at its best.
  • Act as the first point of contact for EPM and finance systems, resolving user issues, managing incidents and escalating where needed.
  • Lead configuration and enhancement of planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting applications (including structures, rules, workflows and security).
  • Partner closely with Finance and IT to translate business needs into fit-for-purpose system solutions and oversee integrations across the finance ecosystem.
  • Ensure data integrity and system readiness to support month-end, year-end and reporting deadlines, along with releases, upgrades and testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and best practice, while providing expert advice to stakeholders and supporting broader finance system initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Relevant tertiary background in IT, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Strong experience working with finance systems, with a solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Proven capability supporting EPM platforms (ideally Oracle EPM/Hyperion) and managing integrations across ERP and related systems.
  • Good grasp of data structures and financial data management, with a focus on accuracy, controls and integrity.
  • Comfortable bridging business and technical teams, translating finance requirements into practical system solutions and engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Well-developed problem-solving, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, drive improvements and operate in complex environments.
