Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the mining sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth in the region.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to clients in the mining industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

  • Highly autonomous and results‑driven sales professional with strong experience in the mining sector.
  • Skilled at managing a large, remote territory, building strong relationships, and converting new business opportunities.
  • Confident engaging with engineers, contractors, owners, and specifiers to secure favourable product specifications.
  • Technically competent, with the ability to understand and communicate the value of industrial or mechanical solutions used in mining applications.
  • Demonstrates strong planning, reporting, and forecasting capabilities, including managing weekly reports, budgets, CRM updates, and sales targets.
  • Excels working independently from a home office while maintaining high levels of professionalism and accountability.
  • Strong communicator and educator who can train and support distributors, specifiers, and contractor partners.
  • Analytical and commercially astute, able to interpret market conditions, spot opportunities, and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Resilient, self‑motivated, and disciplined - thrives in remote working conditions typical of mining regions such as the Pilbara.
