The position offers high autonomy, allowing you to shape strategy, win contracts, and build out the business with a clear pathway into a future General Manager role.

About Our Client

Our client is a facilities management business with a strong presence across regional Victoria and interstate operations spanning ACT, Sydney, and South Australia.

With approximately 40 staff, the business delivers services across schools, childcare centres, government facilities, and commercial sites.

Having built a stable and reputable operation, the business is now at a pivotal stage and looking to bring in a commercially driven individual to lead its next phase of growth.

Job Description

  • Drive new business growth across cleaning and facility services contracts
  • Identify and secure opportunities within:
    • Government tenders
    • Private schools and childcare
    • Commercial sites (e.g. shopping centres, facilities)
  • Lead the end-to-end tender process, including pricing and quoting
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across key sectors
  • Leverage existing networks to generate opportunities
  • Develop and implement a structured sales approach
  • Support the introduction and optimisation of systems (CRM, reporting, processes)
  • Work closely with leadership to shape business strategy and growth

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years' experience in cleaning or facilities services
  • Strong experience in quoting, tendering, and pricing contracts
  • Existing industry relationships and ability to generate leads
  • Proven track record of winning new business
  • Comfortable operating autonomously and building structure where needed
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on delivery



Highly regarded:

  • Experience across government or education sectors
  • Exposure to additional services such as test & tag or broader facilities offerings
  • Background in facilities management or operational roles
