The Procurement Project Lead will be responsible for creating and executing a 3-5 year strategic procurement plan. This role requires extensive experience in procurement within the construction industry, strategic planning, and project management.
This role is for an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst who will be vital in driving efficiency within the Transport and Distribution sector based in Brisbane. The successful candidate will engage in a range of responsibilities, including building cost and commercial models to support supplier negotiations
This role will be working in QLD projects across the Government, Health and Mining industries, with the possibility of expanding to a national/APAC remit.
As a Senior Procurement Officer you will apply your procurement expertise to enhance value and improve practices for government and businesses while ensuring compliance.
You will be responsible for the procurement and strategic sourcing of bio-medical capital equipment and service arrangements. You will develop and implement category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
The role will support the management and execution of the end-to-end conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders, with an additional focus on identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance is maintained at all stages of the process.
