Reporting directly to the Directors, this position will be split approximately 50% accounts (AP / AR) and 50% office management and administration. You will work closely with Project Managers and external suppliers and trades to ensure projects run smoothly from a financial and operational perspective.
This role is responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing, including timesheet review, month‑ and year‑end reporting, award interpretation, superannuation, payroll tax, and supporting general finance tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with systems, strong payroll compliance knowledge, high accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
This role is responsible for delivering accurate, end‑to‑end payroll processing, maintaining employee records, resolving payroll queries, and ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation within a large national organisation. Based in Inner North Brisbane, this role offers a hybrid working model, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to contribute to a high‑performing payroll function on a 6‑month contract.
Supporting a key entity, you will deliver timely and accurate financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. It is a hands‑on position with strong exposure to month-end, audits, and operational stakeholders, contributing to performance improvement and sound financial control.
